Sens and sensibility

I don’t need to watch the game, my neighbour graciously informs the entire neighbourhood with a hoot when ever the Sens score a goal. Last night he only hooted once. Then around 10:30 he followed that up with a resounding “Fuck.” The newspaper this morning confirmed his analysis, the Sens lost 3-1.

There are cars on the road with more Sens flags than windows. I see them every morning on my way to work. The it’s-not-a-fire-hazard-it’s-team-spirit cubical across from mine has one of the flags attached to the ceiling so I can remember to “Be red!” every time I look up. I try not to look up. It also has a tin foil Stanley cup and balloon animals.

There used to be a little balloon duck over there, but I’m pretty sure it’s “disappeared”.
