The Explorigator

Speaking of Little Nemo, Harry Grant Dart created a competitor to the venerable strip in 1908 called The Explorigator. It followed the adventures of Admiral Fudge and his young crew aboard the airship The Explorigator. Barnacle Press has an archive here. Sadly, said archive is only black and white. The series ran for a short 14 weeks.
